Sullivan County Victim Services serves victims of domestic violence, sexual assault survivors, and victims of other crimes in the manner described below.

Domestic Violence Survivors:

• Emergency shelter and emergency transportation for victims and their children
• Individual and group counseling for survivors and their children
• Information on Protection From Abuse (PFA) orders and their court accompaniment.

Sexual Assault Survivors

• Individual and group counseling for victims of rape
• Hospital accompaniment for rape exams
• Court and legal accompaniment

Victims of Other Crimes

• Crisis counseling
• Hospital accompaniment
• Information and referral
• Help with applying for Crime Victim's Compensation
• Individuals who are injured during a crime may be eligible for compensation or non-reimbursed medical expenses
• Forensic rape exam costs are eligible for compensation
• Funeral expenses for homicide victims may be compensated
• Crime victim relocation expenses may be compensated
• Crime victim loss of earnings and stolen cash benefits may be compensated
• Crime victim travel expenses may be eligible for compensation
• Victims of some motor vehicle or water craft crimes may be eligible for compensations
• Crime victim attorney fees may be eligible for compensation
